Holiday Lights in the Gardens

Stroll through the gardens with more than 750,000 twinkly lights, lasers, animated figures and entertainers lining the pathways. Check for complete schedule.

Curtis Hixon Park -600 N. Ashley Drive, Tampa, FL 33602 
Even in Florida, you can get in the holiday spirit by skating on an outdoor rink in the park. Each 90-minute session includes skate rental. The rink is open through Jan. 4.

Ice Palace at International Plaza

2223 N. West Shore Blvd., Tampa, FL 33607
International Plaza transforms into the Ice Palace, a 30-foot dome with snow! Depicting scenes from Disney’s Frozen this is a must see for the whole family. Ice Palace entertainment includes an Icy Hand Print experience, size comparisons with Sven and Olaf and photos with Olaf on an ice throne. The Ice Palace will be open during mall hours daily through Dec. 24.

Meet Santa (through 12/23), his merry mammals – REAL REINDEER (only at the Zoo) and their feathered friends – the penguin colony.

Nightly “Florida flurries” are reasons to take a “snow day!” More merriment awaits, with returning family favorites Reindeer Games, free Zoo rides, Frosty & friends walk-around characters, and delicious holiday treats.

Busch Gardens transforms into a holiday wonderland of wintery surprises, seasonal sights, sounds and flavors. More than a million lights blanket the park, and fan-favorite Christmas shows return for the season. Visit the Claus family, ride the Christmas Town Express and check out the new African penguins at Penguin Point.  Christmas Town is included with any admission to the park.
