JUNO the winter storm (Blizzard of 2015) hitting the New England states to historical levels and now the threat of two more storms right behind it, our hearts go out to those stuck in the areas of snow covered mess.
Here in the Tampa Bay area, we don’t see much snow. Actually, it hasn’t snowed in these parts since Jan. 19, 1977, a rare occurrence of a blast of Arctic air and Tampa Bay’s high humidity making it one memorable event.
Tampa Bay temperatures in the winter months:
November – Average High 78°F, Average Low 60°F
December – Average High 72°F, Average Low 60°F
January – Average High 70°F, Average Low 52°F
February – Average High 73°F, Average Low 55°F
So, now you see why snow birds flock from across the nation to our warm sunshine state weather. November is about the time you start to see the sea of different license plates, Ontario, Nova Scotia, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Iowa, and a sprinkle of Alaska.
When watching video’s such as that, you now see why such social media meme’s of hate towards our wonderful weather.
